Information about the position
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Sweco, is looking for a measurement engineer for their team in Umeå and Skellefteå. The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted by Professionals Nord and that you will be employed directly by Sweco.

You will be part of one of Sweden's leading teams in measurement technology with approximately 225 employees. Distributed across 16 groups and 20 different offices in the country, Sweco works broadly within measurement technology, including hydrographic surveys, project measurement, drone flying, scanning, construction measurement, quantity regulation, and within MBK for municipal clients.

Job Responsibilities
In Umeå and Skellefteå, the team consists of 15 employees who work broadly within measurement technology. The primary focus is measurement work within construction, project measurement, and municipal activities. Here you will work on assignments that involve traditional measurements of existing conditions (terrain and surroundings) before construction, as well as surveying and measuring within construction activities, such as bridges, railways, water and sewage, buildings/industry, and renovations.

You will have great opportunities to organize your work based on your skills and interests. As a consultant in measurement technology, you will for example:

  • Have significant responsibility for leading the measurement work and being an active part of planning the operations in our assignments.
  • Work on varied assignments where our focus is primarily on construction measurement and project measurements.
  • Assist our clients with various products for citizens and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate and drive project teams.
  • Develop client relationships and eventually sell your own assignments.
  • Contribute to the group's development through knowledge sharing and technology development.

We are looking for someone who
has relevant education from university/college/YH or similar experience from working life in measurement and cartography, GIS, land surveying, or similar. You may have previously worked with construction, project measurement, or measurement coordination. You have a strong interest in development and enjoy creating contacts both externally and internally. Good understanding of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as a B driver's license, are requirements for the position.
